This course is suitable for all ages, whether you’re a ramp newbie, or you’ve already got a little transition experience already but don’t feel super comfortable riding a ramp yet.
If you are COMPLETELY new to skateboarding and have little confidence on your skateboard, please sign up to our Beginners course!
We will cover
- Pumping and maintaining speed on the ramp
- Kick turns
- Dropping in
- A trick or two, depending on your ability and experience.
The day runs from 12:30PM – 4:30PM and will include an hour break for a DIY style pizza lunch which we will make together in the onsite wood fired pizza oven!
The 4 hour skate tuition provides us with enough time for you to get comfortable on the ramp and build your confidence on transition, whilst allowing you plenty of time to practise your new learns.
Skateboards are available if you don’t have your own, but we can not provide helmet and pads due to hygiene restrictions. Please bring your own if you feel you need them. (We strongly suggest you wear safety equipment on the basics course)
