LOCATION: Sheffield

This course is suitable for all ages, whether you’re a ramp newbie, or you’ve already got a little transition experience already but don’t feel super comfortable riding a ramp yet.

If you are COMPLETELY new to the wonderful world of skateboarding and have little to no confidence on your skateboard, please sign up to our Beginners course!

What You’ll Learn:

  • Pumping and maintaining speed on the ramp
  • Kick turns
  • Dropping in
  • A trick or two, depending on your skill + confidence level

What You’ll Do:

The day runs from 12PM – 4PM and will include an hour break for a DIY style pizza lunch which we will make together in the onsite wood fired pizza oven!

The 4 hour skate tuition provides us with enough time for you to get comfortable riding the ramp and build your confidence on transition, we will learn to drop in and allow you plenty of free time to practise your new learns.

Skateboards are available if you don’t have your own, but we can not provide helmet and pads due to hygiene restrictions. Please bring your own if you feel you need them.

We strongly suggest you wear safety equipment on the basics course

“The mini ramp is the perfect size to learn on for beginners and being in such a secluded and calm environment takes all the fear and stress out of learning.”

“I had a really great time at the workshop, it was the first time I’d met any other female skaters and it was lovely to hang out and learn.”
